Looking to go out to 4ki by the Robisson then to charleston 60. Anyone seen any good fish out there latley? Temps and Vis? I will report back after trip. Also looking at getting in with some groups if there are any open spots. TDI advanced nitrox cert with over 300 dives as civilian, many more military. Have lots of extra gear and tanks, about 15 tanks right now. Call me if you have open spots:

We went out to the 60 on Sunday. Temp: 72 Vis: 30-35
Lots of grouper out there now, many small , but some bigger ones still there. Two less after this past Sunday though.
We saw two nice red snapper, now one less after this past Sunday
Lots of good size spadefish, sheepshead, & porgies.
We also saw some baby hogfish, but no big ones
If I was you I would go to one or the other, thats alot of driving from 4KI to the 60. The 60 will definitely have better vis than 4KI though. We saw more fish, including huge pods of baitfish on the 240 barge than I have ever seen there before. It was loaded with fish.

Just talked with Ed (Bug-Catcher) & he is planning a run for either Sat or Sun, or BOTH... Give him a call at 708-9785. He has a spot open for this weekend.

If you get a chance to dive with Ed, DO IT. He's a pro. Its very simple with Ed (and Jimmy C.) you WILL be on fish, you WILL burn less fuel, you WILL be on fish.

Kirk, James and I are at DEMA now (a dive conference in FL), some of you guys would love this. We are learning a lot, I am exited to get back and unload some really wicked plans for Lowcountry with everyone. Were looking into Biller Bankgsticks, Shearwater Computers (bada**), and some new companies to help lower the price of our free shafts (YES) so we can all afford to take the shot every time.
Looking forward to bringing some new technology back to Charleston!

Hope you have some bloody fishing this weekend if the weather holds,
Vic

We went out to 4KI, about 68 water temp, ugly 5-10 max vis. No groupers, more 40+ lbs jacks than you could cound. Bunch of medium-small sheepheads. Some good size spades though. Shot a couple sheephead and one large spade. left the jacks alone. dissapointing trip, but was fun just to get out spearfishing again. been a while. Think we will go out again next weekend. If anyone is going out and has room for one more, would love to join.
